Woot Woot!
Lemans is in a new forever home, and most likely this one is a keeper! She's got a new handsome greyhound bro named Astro and her new family are wonderful greyhound savvy people. Yay for Lemans! I'm so happy for her. You'll always be in our hearts sweetie pie, thank you for being in our lives! <3

Wordless Wednesday
Here's a vid showing off Leman's kangaroo hopping that she loves to do when excited, especially when we are getting ready to go for a walk.

Cooler Temps = Sunbathing
The temperature topped out at 67 today. Perfect weather for a greyhound. We've been taking two walks daily since it has been so nice and cool, and this morning Lemans decided to catch some rays.
Working on the face
Lemans has no problem sharing space with her foster Bro
Almost Holding paws <3
Lemans roaches all the time, but when I leave the room to get the camera she flips over to watch me, or we're both enjoying the rub/roach so much I don't want to bother getting it. Someday I will be camera ready for her roaches; but for now some pics of the roach aftermath.

Welcome Back Sweetie!
Lemans is back home with us. Things didn't work out at her possible forever home (no fault of hers). It's been almost 4 weeks since she left, and after being here for only 15 mins, she's made herself completely at home again! It's almost like she never left. She's hanging out on her favorite bed, instigating play fights with Lucy, and roaching when I give her rubs. We went for our usual evening walk and she was wonderful(wish my weims would take a cue from her!).
She looks good, besides from a couple new scars. She's done shedding and her coat is beautiful!
Sweet Lemans is back on the market folks!

Die Monkey, die!
Taking a break; killing monkey is hard work

Foster mom is well trained to get it back from Lucy for me! <3

7 Weeks...
I can't believe we've had Lemans for 7 weeks already! Time really flies when you're fostering an awesome dog :)
She continues to do well and has completely adjusted to being in a home. There are a few things that I have not covered. First, Lemans is wonderful on lead and does not pull during our daily walks. Second, she is not cat safe, and poor Swish at the vet office can attest to this. And last, but not least, she has great potty habits. I let her out every 4-6 hours during the day and she has no problem holding it through the whole night.
Lemans has many playful spurts throughout the day. They only last about 5 mins but it is hilarious to watch her zoom around, play with toys, and play fight with Lucy. I'm also happy to report that the hair on her thighs and tummy is starting to come in.
She has the cutest petite head, here's a couple pics from today.
